The company's AV Optimization provides a stable high throughput and smooth video streaming through two major parameters: read-ahead and maximum drive response time. Read-ahead automatically detects multiple sequential I/O behaviors, prompting essential media data to be cached, while maximum drive response time ensures every drive responds to each I/O request immediately.
To validate their capabilities, particularly in handling 4K media content workflows, the company tested EonStor DS 4000 series with integrated Apple Xsan, Mac Pro and ATTO FC 16Gb Thunderlink. Demonstrating throughput support for up to eight streams in 4K (4,096 x 2,160) resolution format, these results solidify companys's capabilities as a provider of media and entertainment storage solutions.
