With both Thunderbolt 2 and USB 3.0 interfaces, the combination of Pegasus2 R2+ and the CFast 2.0 Reader Pod provides a convenient and rapid way to transfer 4K content from high-end cameras via CFast 2.0 media.

The CFast 2.0 Reader Pod is capable of supporting speeds up to 500MB/s, providing the throughput that professional and advanced amateur photographers and videographers need to improve the efficiency of their workflow. With Pegasus2 R2+ and the portable Reader Pod, creative professionals working in the post production, broadcast, and photography industries can have their Thunderbolt storage ready for CFast 2.0 4K content from next generation high resolution cameras and are able to access CFast 2.0 media at their desk or on the go.

Pegasus2 R2+ is a Thunderbolt 2 hardware RAID-0/1 storage solution with USB 3.0 that includes two hot-swappable HDDs and a versatile media bay that offers users the choice between four different interchangeable pods for convenient media exchange - a CF/SD Reader, SSD Reader, a 1TB HDD Pod and the CFast 2.0 Reader Pod. Each pod comes with USB 3.0 Micro-B for independent access, providing the convenience to take a Pod and work elsewhere away from the editing suite.
